About Us
PERIYAR MEDICITY is situated at Kuzhoor near Perumbavoor /Muvattupuzha in Ernakulam District, Kerala, India, Pin-683541, is a newly establishing 250 bedded Multispecialty, Multidiscipline NABH Accredited (once at starting) Hospital Complex along with Educational Institutions like Nursing College, Pharmacy College, Paramedical Institutions etc.
PERIYAR MECITY is acquiring an existing Engineering College, whose current activities will be stopped around May 2026. The existing infrastructure and the Campus will be modified as per the requirements of the Multi-Specialty Hospital housing all major departments and 250 Inpatient beds along with State of the art diagnostic and investigations department and Pharmacy.
EXISTING CAMPUS – The Campus spread over 13 acres of land with 164,000 sq.ft carpet area Buildings fully constructed and Building permit to construct further 230,000 sq.ft area buildings. Periyar Medicity is acquiring these land and buildings completely.
Proposed Time of Completion /Start of operation
Pharmacy
\(24 \times 7\) Pharmacy will be functional. Separate IP Pharmacy will be set up for the patients admitted in the Hospital
Emergency
A fully equipped Accident and Emergency Department will be functional for addressing all emergencies.
Out Patient Department
OP Consultation Rooms will be set up in the floor above the reception for at-least 20 Doctors in the first phase
Inpatient Beds
Fully functional Laboratory and Radiology department with X-Ray, Ultrasound Scan and CT will be functional in the initial stage. MRI will be functional in the second stage.
Infrastructure
ER/Emergency, Reception, Admission, Discharge, Lab, Pharmacy and Radiology will be set up at the same floor. OPDs will be planned in the floor above the reception. OT Complex, ICUs, Labor room will be one floor below the reception floor. Floors above the OPDs will be converted for IP Beds of various categories.
New Lift arrangements, Escalators, Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, Fire Fighting Systems, Sewage Treat ment Plant, Laundry Facilities, Store etc. will be part of the infrastructure. Entire Hospital will be run on state of the art Hospital Management Software.
Enough power backup with Generator system and UPS System will cater to the main, OT, ICU and emergency activities.
